CBRE Pay Review 2020 (BT Workplace Team)

CBRE have informed the CWU that they are to postpone the 2020 pay review for the BT Workplace Team until September.  The current HR briefing is attached.

Pay discussions across CBRE have been postponed because of the ongoing uncertainties created by the Coronavirus pandemic.  Attached is a message from Ian Entwistle, the CBRE CEO dated March that is still valid and is now impacting our members.

For the vast majority of members the pay review on the BT account is June but the company have told us that this will now happen in September.

The CWU have written to CBRE expressing our unhappiness and profound disappointment at this postponement whilst acknowledging that the pandemic is beyond the control of the company.  We have reminded them that our members were designated as ‘key workers’ and have continued to work as usual in extremely difficult circumstances.

In September, the CWU will be pressing CBRE for significant recognition not least in appreciation of the efforts over the course of the pandemic but for their ongoing contribution to the success of the company.
