Subscription fees vary dependant on employer and number of hours worked per week.

Members and branch officials are encouraged to report incidents of bullying and harassment so these can be recorded on the CWU national harassment complaints database and ensure victims receive the support and protection they need. Members are advised to seek the assistance of their branch or local rep in filling out the complaint form below and read the guidance notes before completing the form.

Further to previous information given to members regarding the above, we post here an update with regard to correspondence received from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
When such incidents take place, we are required, by law, to inform the ICO of the incident, subsequently the ICO can and in our case has, asked a series of detailed questions around the incident. Following this process we have now received a letter from the ICO that states as follows.
“Based on the information you have provided we have decided that regulatory action is not required in this case”
adding further that
“We now consider this matter closed”
The ICO does have the power to instigate its own inquiry, produce public reports on these inquiries and in certain cases levy fines if they consider it appropriate.
Against that background the above position set out by the ICO is welcome news and we share it here in order to update you all on this development.
