Introducing Women in Power

Guest speaker Lara McNeill , Labour NEC Youth Rep and junior doctor. Lara will be speaking on the importance of young women actively putting themselves forward into positions of responsibility and this will be followed by a discussion on the way that women in power across the world, and in the labour movement, have advanced the equalities struggle for all.

Women in industry

Sunday, 21st March – 15:00

Guest Speakers Michelle Rogers, President of the RMT, and Karen Rose, President of CWU (TBC). In this session we will discuss the specific day-to-day challenges women face in our respective industries and within our trade unions. This will be followed by an honest and open discussion between all attendees, sharing personal experiences and how we’ve overcome these challenges.
