OPS NOTE: Liverpool MPs, Mayor and councillors to attend BT jobs protest

The Communication Workers Union (CWU) are directing press to a protest outside of BT Group’s Liverpool offices at The Plaza, 100 Old Hall Street/St Paul’s Square, Liverpool, L3 9QJ on Wednesday 29^th July.

Attending the rally will be local MPs Paula Barker, Ian Byrne, Peter Dowd, Maria Eagle and Kim Johnson, Liverpool City Region mayor Steve Rotheram, Liverpool council leader Liam Robinson, and impacted CWU members.

The protest will take place between 12:00-14:00, and figures will be available for interview.
