ROYAL MAIL STRIKE BALLOT ANNOUNCEMENT

DATE: Tuesday 19^th July 2022

TIME: 16.00

VENUE: York Barbican Theatre, Paragon Street, York YO10 4AH

The Communication Workers Union will be holding a press conference on Tuesday 19^th July to announce the result of the strike action ballot at Royal Mail Group.

With over 115,000 postal workers involved, the ballot is currently the year’s biggest vote over possible strike action.

You are invited to join CWU representatives and members in York, where you will be able to field questions to the union’s General Secretary Dave Ward and its Deputy General Secretary Terry Pullinger.

Attendees would be expected to be seated at 16.00 sharp, with camera crews able to set up from 15.30.
