CAPITA TVL: MEMBERS ENDORSE 2019 PAY AGREEMENT
Further to LTB085 dated 5th February 2019. I am pleased to advise Branches that our TVL members have voted overwhelmingly in favour of the 2019 pay agreement covering Bristol, Darwen and the Field. The ballot result is as follows:

| NO VOTES | 50 | 20% |
| TURNOUT | 39% |
I have notified Paul Johnston, Managing Director, of the ballot result and he has confirmed that arrears of pay backdated to 1st January and the pay increase will be made with February salaries. Our primary objective was to reach a fair agreement that gave benefits to every member whilst at the same time continuing our policy to improve low pay. We have achieved this and we will continue to pursue this policy in future years. I have also written directly to our TVL members, informing them of the result.
| 2019 PAY AGREEMENT – KEY FEATURES
• From 1st January 2019 members will receive a 2% pay increase. The exception are those members on the current minimum pay rate of £8.21 per hour who will have their hourly pay rate increased to £8.60 • 4.8% average pay increase for low paid members who will from 1st January move to a minimum pay rate of £8.60 per hour/£16,770 per annum in line with National Living Wage projections for April 2020 This pay increase equates to an average of 4.8% for 72% of the members in the Operational and Field Business Centre in Darwen • All new starters in Darwen to receive a minimum of £16,770, from 1st January. For new entrants in the Field the current entry rate of pay will be increased by 2% • The next pay review date is 1st January 2020.

New Commission Scheme for Field Members
Negotiations will commence in the coming weeks regarding a new commission scheme for Field members. The challenging aim is to conclude an agreement by April 2019. Further developments in this regard will be reported directly to our Branches and the Field members.
