No. 548/2018 25 September 2018
TO BT BRANCHES WITH MANPOWER MEMBERS
Dear Colleague
Manpower – BT VVS – Change from PBA to AWR Terms
Manpower has informed the CWU that in line with the BT Transformation agreement they are in the process of communicating with their employees who are on PBA advisors in VVS to propose making changes to their contracts – i.e moving from a PBA to an AWR contract.
There are 2 types of transitions listed below and depend on start date.
Manpower Start Date | Pay Principle | Pay | Terms |
Up to and including 31 Aug 2014 | NewGrid Salary, maximum | £21,755 (£11.58 per hour) | NewGrid T&Cs |
All other start dates from 1st Sep 2014: WF2020 Spot rate for TMSV1 and WF2020 T&Cs |
WF2020 Spot rate | £19,063 (£9.74) | WF2020 T&Cs |
All Manpower employees in VVS on a PBA contract will be informed that BT has committed to cease using PBA contracts across all functions by the end of the financial year and they wish to consult on an individual basis to change the current terms of employment.
The main changes are as follows;
- As of 2nd Dec 2018 Manpower propose that the hourly pay will increase from £8.50 per hour to £9.74 (or £11.58 Newgrid rate applicable to 2 Manpower employees only).
- As of 2nd Dec 2018 Manpower propose that there will no longer be eligibility for any pay between assignment payments.
Manpower employees will be required to accept these changes by email to BTSupport@Manpower.co.uk including their name, Voice Services and the location where they are based. They will need to do this by no later than 12th October 2018.
