Young Workers Midlands Event
The Midland Region would like to invite all Young Members (30 and under) to our open event in Birmingham on Friday October 4th 2024, starting at 11.00am, at the Birmingham Branch Office, on Summer Lane.
The theme of the day will be ‘Mental Health and Young Workers’
Our Region and the wider Union realise this is now a massive concern for our young members. Over the last few years Covid 19 and the bitter industrial disputes which occurred across our union has contributed to exacerbating this problem.
This event will be a seminar delivered by Steve Croke our Midlands training lead who has extensive experience of educating workers and union reps on how this issue affects workers across industries.
There will be other guest speakers and importantly a social event, where our members can network and share their experiences. This is a great opportunity to come along to a relaxed environment meet your Union and find out more about how to get involved.
