Telefonica Pay Review 2018 – Final Offer

Issue No. 004/2018

09/02/18

TO ALL BRANCHES WITH TELEFONICA MEMBERS

Dear Colleague

Telefonica Pay Review 2018 – Final Offer

A number of meetings have taken place with Telefonica to discuss the 2018 Pay Review which covers all General Population grades.

As a result of those discussions Telefonica has made a final and definitive offer as follows:

  • 2.5% fully consolidated increase across all General Population grades that flows through to all allowances from 01 April 2018.
  • Telefonica contracts including Technical Specialist, Business Support and Technical & Engineering grades will have an additional pay progression payment from 01 April 2018 as follows:

– Outstanding Performer 1.6%

– High Performer 1.3%

– Good Performer 1%

– Developing Performer 0.25%

– Under Performer 0%

Summary

The CWU National Team believes the final offer of 2.5% is a fair, reasonable and acceptable offer and is the best that can be negotiated.

We therefore believe the final offer should be recommended to the membership for acceptance via a consultative ballot and the ballot timetable has been agreed as follows:

• 26 February 2018 – e-ballot opens

• 12 March 2018 – e-ballot closes

• 12 March 2018 – e-ballot result announcement

The ballot will be conducted by Popularis, an independent scrutineer, and will be an electronic format whereby you will receive an e-ballot via your work place email address.

Consultative on site meetings/sessions are in the process of being arranged and your local CWU branch will provide more detail shortly.

Any queries should be addressed to Sally Bridge sabridge@cwu.org

Yours sincerely
