South East Anglia
South East Anglia CWU (Communication Workers Union) is the result of the merger of South East Anglia Engineering & South East Anglia Clerical branches over 6 years ago. Membership is made up from members working in telecommunications industry in the South East Herts, and Essex areas. The majority of our members work for BT, although we have a large and growing membership in other companies such as Monteray, Global Marine, Telenti, O2 and Telewest/NTL.
South East Anglia CWU has a total of five officers on either full time or part time capacity. The officers are based at either the Brentwood or Colchester offices. Both Offices are of equal importance. To give examples, the Colchester office is within striking distance of our members in the north of Essex, where as our Brentwood office means we get out to see members in Brentwood Workstyle, Southend, Rayleigh, Basildon & Bishops Stortford.
