South East Anglia
South East Anglia CWU (Communication Workers Union) is the result of the merger of South East Anglia Engineering & South East Anglia Clerical branches back in 2000.
Membership is made up from members working in telecommunications industry in the South East Herts, and Essex areas. The majority of our members work for BT and Openreach, although we have a large and growing membership in other companies such as Monteray, Global Marine, Telent, O2 and Virgin Meadia.
South East Anglia CWU has a total of four officers on either full time or part time capacity. The officers are based at either the Brentwood or MarksTey offices. Both Offices are of equal importance. To give examples, the Marks Tey is within striking distance of our members in the north of Essex, where as our Brentwood office means we get out to see members in Brentwood Workstyle, Southend, Rayleigh, Basildon & Bishops Stortford.
