Our members
We represent staff in a range of roles, from engineers, to customer service advisors and retail workers. Whether you work in a call centre, retail outlet, or you're a field-based engineer, we can protect you at work.
We can also provide a range of training in areas like health & safety, union learning, employment rights and equality.
As the biggest union in the communications industry, we use our experience from across the UK to make workplaces safer and drive up standards. We campaign on issues affecting the telecom and broadband industry and take your concerns and opinions to management, industry leaders and politicians.
Problems at work
Our experienced reps can give you independent advice when it comes to performance management, bonus structure and work hours. We can help members with contract changes and redundancy procedures as well as helping you if you experience bullying or harassment at work. Job security and better workplaces are our priority for members.
As a member, we can represent you in grievances and disciplines, presenting your case and advising you throughout. We also help with health and safety issues at work and on issues of isolation for engineers.
Organising
The CWU has a team of field organisers to assist Sky employees build the union in each workplace. They can assist you in joining the union, meeting with your union branch, getting training and in creating a active union to help you and your colleagues overcome problems at work.
