Santander UK Pay 2011
The CWU has announced that the National Negotiating Team is recommending a pay deal in Santander UK in a consultative ballot.
Under the terms of the proposed agreement most members would receive 3.1% or more with pay increases of between 0% and 5% dependent on performance and position in the pay ranges while national pay scales and allowances will rise 2.5%. Due to the structure of the deal the lower paid will receive higher increases and pay rises will be underpinned by increases of between £200 and £400.
The comprehensive offer includes the introduction a new minimum salary of £12,250; the extension of a minimum hourly rate of £7.41 after 12 months in post across the whole bank; consolidated rises for those with protected contractual rights; commitments to further talks on improving pay progression arrangements; and a review of the performance management system.
The CWU ballot closes on 2nd March 2011.
