Royal Mail Collection Drivers
Royal Mail Collection Driver issues are the responsibility
of Bob Gibson,
Assistant Secretary, Outdoor Department.
Officer Substitute - Noel McClean, PEC Member.
The Policy Advisor in the Department is Steve Fishwick - sfishwick@cwu.org.
Members of the postal executive working to the department are
Noel McClean, Mark Baulch, Tony Bouch and Peter Keenlyside.
Not all of our Collection Driver Members work in Delivery Offices, some are based in Mail Centres and Collection Hubs but the agreements that affect them remain the responsibility of the Outdoor Department, including Vehicle Telemetry, Drivers Risk Assessment, Drivers Licence Mandate, PDAs, RTA and Access Barcode Agreement etc.
For ease of reference, you can download the Letter to Branches (883/10) that sets out the standards for Collections and the associated National Agreement and Six Step Process for Collections Revisions. Everything you need to know is contained within the documents below:

As in all cases, your local CWU Branch or Workplace Representative should be your first port of call, as they are in a much better position to deal with local issues.
