Members in Quadrant are looked after by Terry Pullinger, Assistant Secretary. Bob McGuire is the Policy Advisor for the department.

Quadrant members are responsible for providing the catering arm to all business units within the Royal Mail Group. Additiionally, following the transfer of cleaning work from Romec, our members are also currently responsible for cleaning at some sites.

Quadrant was part of a joint venture with Granada some years ago and a further merger has taken place with Compass to form one of the largest catering companies in the country, which is 51% owned by Royal Mail Group.

Our members currently enjoy some of the best pay and terms and conditions within the catering industry. Pay, terms and conditions are negotiated by the department, and discussions in regard to the 2009 pay claim will be commencing in the near future.

As in all cases, your local CWU Branch or Workplace Representative should be your first port of call, as they are in a much better position to deal with local issues.
