Area Distribution

Professional Drivers in Area Distribution are looked after by Martin Collins, Assistant Secretary. Chris Bennett is the Policy Advisor for the department.

As in all cases, your local CWU Branch or Workplace Representative should be your first port of call, as they are in a much better position to deal with local issues.

Network

The department has responsibility for Professional Drivers in Network who drive vehicles over 7.5t. Professional Drivers of vehicles of 7.5t and below fall under the remit of Area Distribution and are the responsibility of Martin Collins, Indoor Department.

The grade of Professional Driver was introduced along with a change in pay structure in 2007 due to a change in Road Transport legislation.

Professional Drivers in Network are looked after by Terry Pullinger, Assistant Secretary. Bob McGuire is the Policy Advisor for the department.
