Professional Drivers
The grade of Professional Driver was introduced along with a change in pay structure in 2007 due to a change in Road Transport legislation.
Representation for Professional Drivers in Area Distribution MGV vehicles and Network LGV vehicles fall under the responsibility of Terry Pullinger, Assistant Secretary and Chris Bennett the Policy Advisor for the department.
As in all cases, your local CWU Branch or Workplace Representative should be your first port of call, as they are in a much better position to deal with local issues.
