CWU welcomes new Scottish Labour Leader

CWU today (Saturday) welcomes the announcement that Johann
Lamont is the new Labour Leader for Scotland.
CWU Scotland Regional Secretary John Brown said: "We're
absolutely delighted that Johann Lamont has won the Scottish Labour
Party Leadership.
"We have a very good relationship with Johann and we look
forward to working with her and the new Deputy Leader Anas Sarwar
to develop the CWU's policies in Scotland for our members so
that we continue to provide vital public postal and telephone
services for the people of Scotland."
CWU nominated Johan for the position of Scottish Labour Leader.
CWU is affiliated to the Labour Party and represents workers in
post, telecommunications and financial services across Scotland and
the UK.
