Mailsource

Mailsource is the company that replaced Royal Mail in 2006 as the mailroom service provider for the BBC's internal mail operation. The majority of the CWU members employed at the site were transferred to the new company with their existing terms and conditions protected under the terms of TUPE legislation. The CWU has successfully concluded a Recognition Agreement with Mailsoure and are responsible for all collective bargaining issues appropriate to our members at the BBC.
Members working at Mailsource are represented by Martin Collins, Assistant Secretary who is supported at CWU HQ by his Policy Advisor Chris Bennett and two secretarial staff Alison Corbett and Dawn Altaf. Martin is also assisted by Phil Browne, Joe Malone, Pete Keenlyside from the Postal Executive.
As in all cases, your local CWU Branch or Workplace Representative should be your first port of call, as they are in a much better position to deal with local issues.
If you need to contact Headquarters. please contact Alison Corbett at acorbett@cwu.org or on 0208 971 7445.
