Mail Centres

0

The Mail Centre Network is responsible for the collection, processing and despatching of inward and outward traffic from within the office's designated post code areas. In some cases, the collection operation is supplemented by collections located in separate Hubs or Delivery Offices. Mail Centres also process the Downstream Access traffic it receives from other licence holders.

Members working in Mail Centres are represented by Terry Pullinger, assistant secretary who is supported at CWU HQ by his Policy Advisor, Chris Bennett, and secretarial staff Diane Wyatt and Laura Wright. Terry is also assisted by Davie Roberston, Katrina Quirke and Jo Malone from the Postal Executive.

As in all cases, your local CWU Branch or Workplace Representative should be your first port of call, as they are in a much better position to deal with local issues.

If you need to contact Headquarters, please contact Diane Wyatt at dwyatt@cwu.org or on 0208 971 7322 or Laura Wright at lwright@cwu.org or on 0208 971 7317.
