Natalie Jacottet - Research
Natalie Jacottet became acting Head of Research in March 2009. She has been with the department since September 2004.
Natalie oversees the work of the Research department which has two main functions: to provide factual and statistical briefings to support officers and executive members in their collective bargaining with employers; and to make representations to political and regulatory bodies in relation to issues such as ownership, regulation and competition covering the industries in which our members work. The Department also deals with queries from ordinary members and branches, together with a range of external bodies and academic institutions. It also contains an extensive library and archive of CWU documents.Prior to her appointment as acting Head of Research, Natalie worked as a CWU Researcher focussing on postal issues, including: competition, regulation and ownership; collective bargaining support; and general employment and trade union issues.
