Geoban Pay 2011
The CWU has secured a pay offer which provides a 3.1% increase for a successful performer in the middle of the pay ranges and boosts the position of the lower paid.
The Union's national negotiating team, which includes local and national representatives from all CWU Branches in Geoban around the UK, has decided that overall the offer should be recommended.
Under the terms of the proposed agreement members on performance related pay will receive increases of up to 5%, with the increase for a standard performer in the middle of the pay scales being 3.1%. The deal is structured so that the lower paid will receive higher increases and pay rises will be underpinned by minimum annual increases of between £200 and £400. A new minimum salary of £12,250 will be introduced.
Those not on performance pay will receive an increase of 2.5% plus a cash payment of £225.
