BT Managed Services Ltd (BTMSL)
BTMSL is the centre of excellence delivery unit for the management of other Communication Providers networks and currently contains the following managed services contracts:
Virgin Media:
Started 1st December 2007. BTMSL is responsible for planning,
building, operating and maintaining the existing Virgin Media core
voice telecommunications network.
Orange (DNO):
Started in BTMSL on 1st July 2009. BT & NSN Jointly supply the
Engineering, Network and Operational Services for Orange UK
network. BT's role is the operations and maintenance of over
12,500 Orange UK cell sites and the evolution of the Orange Radio
Access Network.
Kingston Communications (KCom):
Has phased implementation dates for 1st August and 1st September
2009. BTMSL will maintain and operate the Kingston Communications
Hull and national network.
