Alliance & Leicester - Santander
The CWU represents staff right across the Alliance &
Leicester including current accounts, savings, mortgages, business
banking, shared services, IT and the retail network.
The Bank was the UK's seventh largest when it was taken over by
Santander in October 2008. A&L will be rebranded as Santander
during 2010.
The Union has full bargaining rights for all staff in Bands 1 to 5
- pay scales A to J. The union is the largest within A&L.
We also have a national network of representatives who can deal
with grievance and discipline cases for staff in any Band.
