Living Wage Accreditation

Living Wage Foundation

The CWU has become an accredited Living Wage Employer. This means that every member of directly employed staff in the organisation earns not just the minimum wage but the London Living Wage.

The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually based on the cost of living in the UK and London. The Living Wage campaign has been active for about 10 years and has lifted over 45,000 people out of poverty.

Becoming an accredited employer rests with the values of the CWU in supporting and valuing its staff.
