Who’s Who?

Welcome to the CWU Education & Training Who's Who listing.

The CWU Education and Training Department is responsible for developing and providing our CWU activist training and education programme and for promoting lifelong learning opportunities for our members.

We work according to the policies set by the CWU membership each year at our Annual Conference and under the direction of the National Executive Committee.

The Education and Training Department is led by Trish Lavelle, who is the Head of Education and Training. Trish works with a team of 29 staff who all fulfil different roles, and who are all committed to making sure that you can have access to a really good experience of learning with your union.

Our staff work in the CWU Headquarters in Wimbledon, London, at the CWU Education and Training Centre at Alvescot Lodge in Oxfordshire, and in each of the 10 CWU regions.
