Fire
Fire has always been an
essential help to mankind, but also a constant source of danger.
Without it there would be no society or civilisation, as it is our
primary source of warmth and energy, and one of the first things to
distinguish man from other species has been his ability to harness
fire and use it for his own purposes. But fire is not always so
easily contained as we would like to think, and it is when it gets
out of control, that is when the trouble starts, destroying
property and threatening life.
