Yell was sold by BT to Apax Hicks & Partners (Venture Capitalists) in 2001. Operations outside of the UK are in the States with Yellow Book and McLeod.
Yell's UK Operations are in Reading and Bristol (Talking Pages). There are also Yellow Pages Sales offices in 8 UK regions.
The Executive continues to maintain first-class conditions of employment in Yell, including the delivery of NewGRID to a company outside BT.
Current issues for the CWU include a bonus review, and the NewGRID reduction in hours.
