responsible for Procurement and Supply Chain is Grace

A team of Nationally elected officials drawn up from each constituency (Clerical and Engineering) support the Officer on Procurement and Supply Chain matters.

Procurement and Supply Chain consists of BT's logistics operations including warehousing, transport operation, stores and service points, mail rooms and document design centres.
Last year, the union was successful in defeating the third attempt in four years to out-source BT Mailrooms and this remains an in-house operation.
There is considerable concern within the union over issues associated with management style and a perceived reluctance to adhere to national agreements. A major objective for the union in the present period will be successful deployment of lay representatives in negotiations with the company, and an improved performance by the company in terms of key provisions of national agreements.
